Oliver's is an oasis of European charm in White River, Mpumalanga. Surrounded by the lush forests of the Mpumalanga province, the lodge is situated on the secure White River Country Estate. The lodge overlooks the first green of the 18-hole championship White River Golf Course in White River, Mpumalanga.
White River, Mpumalanga is well known not only for its superb temperate sub-tropical climate in summer as well as in winter, but also for its many scenic and adventurous attractions. Oliver's is only a 3 and a half hours drive away from Johannesburg.
The lodge is situated off the R40 travelling between White River and Hazyview on the White River Country Estate. Oliver's is within close proximity of the world famous Kruger National Park as well as the Blyde River Canyon with panoramic drives along the escarpment. Oliver's is one of the few Mpumalanga hotels, that believe in being involved in every facet of their lodge. Oliver is very hands on in the kitchen and Tanja adds a feminine touch to the suites. Their rooms are individually furnished and beautifully appointed with spacious en-suite bathrooms and private varandahs or balconies offering stunning views over the golf course. They are equipped with DSTV, telephone, minibar with snacks, airconditioning, heater, coffee & tea facilities, hairdryer and bathrobes. The Luxury Rooms and Executive Suites also include a mini hi-fi system with DVD and speakers in the bathroom. They each have a fireplace with a cosy seating area in front and the Suites have a separate lounge and bedroom. The bathrooms have a separate WC and bidet, spacious showers and corner baths with twin basins and the Suites boast a private outside shower.
While at Oliver's enjoy a game of golf at the White River Golf Course. The course follows the natural undulations of the valley and regularly criss-crosses the White River which makes for great golfing in South Africa.
